Health Information Services, Inc. works closely with each client to analyze their requirements and to meet their specific documentation needs.
Physicians dictate at their convenience at any time from anywhere, to one of the following - their own digital hand-held recorders such as a Sony, Olympus, or a Palm Tungsten-T, and simply transfer the files to our secure servers (even if they work with MP3 files), to the on-site digital dictation systems of the clinics from where we can retrieve them, or to our state-of-the- art digital dictation system, the DVI Voice Power 2000, which is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Digital voice files are transmitted to our servers and encrypted before being transmitted to transcriptionists. All incoming data is captured on high availability fault tolerant systems.
The voice files are validated for any communication errors, decoded and transcribed in the desired format by highly qualified, full time transcriptionists. We use multi-level protection and encryption and all dictation and transcription systems are HIPAA compliant.
All transcribed material is proof-read in detail to ensure high levels of accuracy.
The completed reports in the desired formats are returned electronically to the client via our secure website. All reports are returned ina format that is compliant with major EMR systems. Clients can view their reports on-line and download additional copies as well.
Customized reports are generated to help each client track the dictation, transcription, and delivery of the reports by the various systems.
